Reiki Treatments and Trainings
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that dates back thousands of years. It's very effective facilitating the body's capacity to heal, and relaxing the central nervous system. I have been practicing Reiki for over 10 years and am now a qualified Usui Reiki Master and Teacher Trainer. Through working with this system I have become able to perceive the more subtle energies in the body and help direct their flow. Reiki has naturally found its way into all the healing work I do, and enhances my Acupuncture sessions tremendously. I also also offer treatments that blend Reiki, Tuning Forks, and Acupressure massage. This type of treatment is very effective, and can be a great option for someone who is not able to work with needles. I also offer training for individuals who are interested in becoming certified to do Reiki themselves. Due to the current health crisis I am only offering private Reiki Attunments and training. This workshop will take place in my open air treatment room, is priced at $200 and lasts approximately 3.5 hr. Please contact me directly for more information.

Sonic Sound Healing
The use of sound vibrations to positively effect the human body has been used throughout time, and by cultures spread across the globe. One of the reasons is works is because of its effect on the brain. Specific frequencies can alter the brain waves that are produced, and down regulate the central nervous system. This brings the body into a deeply relaxed state where deep healing is possible. I take advantage to these benefits and include sound meditations with the crystal bowls and the sonic gong as part of my Acupuncture sessions. Sound healing also works through the effect of vibration on the physical body. Tuning forks placed against the skin can actually activate a point nearly as much as a needle can. Sound travels 60 times faster through water than air. Being that our bodies are mostly water one can imagine what kind of effect the sound vibrations have. Using the tuning forks is something that I often integrate into Acupuncture treatments, but can also be done all on its own or as part of a Reiki and Acupressure Massage. I also offer group Sonic Sound Journeys. This is where you just get to lay back, let you mind unwind, and be washed by healing waves of sound. This is a wonderful way to release stress and anxiety, and improve the quality of sleep.

Qi Gong (also called Chi Gong) is a timeless, powerful and gentle movement practice. It originated in ancient china, and actually shares a similar ancestry to Kung Fu. Both practices focus on cultivating an internal energy, however their purpose for cultivation differs greatly. In Kung Fu energy is directed outward and used to harm an opponent, whereas in Qi Gong it is focused inward and used to increase health and wellbeing. Imagine Qi Gong as a moving meditation where all the movements have an intention of drawing energy into the body, and releasing blockages in its flow. Specific forms target different organ systems, and it's possible to correct internal imbalances, or even work preventatively on a variety of different conditions. In addition, Qi Gong's flowing movements gently stretch and tone the muscles, and bring mobility into the joints. I have been practicing Qi Gong for over 10 years and became a teacher as part of my training in Chinese Medicine. Qi Gong has become an essential and enjoyable part of my daily life, and I absolutely love to share the gift with others! In my treatments I often teach my patients a specific movement to help aid in their healing process. I also teach drop in style classes for where you can dive deeply into this ancient art and feel the benefits for yourself!

Kaula Tantra Yoga
Kaula Tantra Yoga is a beautiful practice that teaches deep relaxation as a way of life. This form of yoga uses an ancient formula of gentle movements that relax and balance the subtle energy (or Qi) in the body. Kaula Yoga is not about physical performance, but more about teaching your body that everything you do (even challenging poses) can come from a place of relaxation. Extended practice of this yoga increases energy levels, and helps to improve and maintain overall health. I offer classes in this wonderful movement practice, as well as workshops that include more information on Tantric Philosophy as a whole.
